The current crisis unfolding in Haiti requires our united support and compassion. Haiti has been grappling with a series of challenges, including political instability, violence, and the aftermath of devastating earthquakes. It is crucial that we come together as a Caribbean community to offer our assistance and solidarity to Haitians during this difficult time.
Their plight is not theirs alone, but ours too, for we are united by our shared Caribbean identity and a common destiny. We cannot create a safe and resilient Caribbean without a safe and resilient Haiti.
Haiti’s revolutionary spirit has left an indelible mark not only on the Caribbean but on the world and serves as an inspiration for all movements towards justice and liberation. Despite the current crisis, our teams in Haiti are still working to protect their environment and find climate solutions for their communities. Their dedication and perseverance are truly inspiring and are a beacon of hope for their community.
Let us extend our support, raise awareness, and stand with Haiti. Together, let us pave the path towards a brighter future, where Haiti and the Caribbean emerges stronger and more prosperous than ever before.

Imagine Caribbean Mentorship Programme Launched
In January, we launched our first Imagine Caribbean Mentorship Programme – a 6-month programme which allocates capacity and resources directly into the support and development of climate leadership in the Caribbean.
Over the past few months, we’ve been working with our mentees to develop their community adaptation projects. The mentorship programme runs from January to June 2024, and supports participants to build a detailed organizational plan, set their goals and long term vision, recruit team members, fundraise, conduct online and offline advocacy, plan local and regional actions, grow their spokesperson skills, and engage with the press.
Say hello to our mentees from Suriname, Guyana, and Trinidad & Tobago!
